The LAC PropertyChain initiative is sponsored by the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB). The IADB works to improve lives in Latin America and the Caribbean through financial and technical support for countries working to reduce poverty and inequality in a sustainable and climate-friendly way. The IADB is the leading source of development financing in Latin America and the Caribbean.
LACChain is an initiative by the IDB Lab to accompany and accelerate the development of the blockchain ecosystem in Latin America. It aims to establish national consortiums in the region, to develop and promote standards for interoperability of networks, and to develop and maintain interoperable blockchain infrastructures.
ChromaWay is the blockchain solutions provider to the LAC PropertyChain initiative. ChromaWay has developed blockchain-based solutions to countries around the world including Sweden, Australia, Canada, and India. The project is built on ChromaWay’s relational blockchain called Chromia. Chromia enables openness, transparency and decentralization along with high scalability and security.
Jalasoft is a leader in application development and systems integration in Latin America. Based in Bolivia, the company is well known for its highly skilled engineers and UI/UX designers. Jalasoft is building the LAC PropertyChain distributed application that will be deployed on the blockchain network.
