The vision of LAC PropertyChain
The initiative
LAC PropertyChain is a regional initiative sponsored by the Inter-American Development Bank. The project vision is to develop open source, distributed blockchain based solutions to strengthen and provide for greater transparency in the land sector in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Our technology
We developed a Chromia-based testnet to highlight the benefits of this technology. LAC PropertyChain deploys a public permissioned version of our technology. Bolivian-based developer Jalasoft has built a conveyance dapp (distributed application) that will facilitate pilot property transactions among stakeholders in the property ecosystem.
The project is initially focusing on Peru, but representatives from Paraguay and Bolivia have supported the effort. The goal of the project is to provide an open-source solution for property transactions for countries across the region.
